Which SIM card is best for data when I land in Phuket?

Arriving at Phuket airport next week and I want reliable data for maps and calls. Which provider should I go for?

All three main networks (AIS, TrueMove H and dtac) have kiosks in the arrivals hall and sell tourist SIMs with a set amount of data valid for 8, 15 or 30 days. Coverage on all three is good across Phuket. Bring your passport, they have to register the SIM to it.

If you would rather not queue at the airport you can also buy one later at any 7-Eleven or a network shop in town. An eSIM bought online before you fly is another easy option if your phone supports it.
