1. Acceptance of these terms

Welcome to Thailand Stuff. By accessing or using thailandstuff.com and the Thailand Stuff mobile apps for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. About the service

Thailand Stuff is an informational directory and guide to Phuket and, over time, the rest of Thailand, available through our website and our mobile apps. We list places to eat and stay, things to do, trails, events, guides and videos. Listings are provided for your convenience and general information only. A listing does not mean we endorse, represent, or have any commercial relationship with the business, and we do not take bookings or process payments on any venue's behalf.

3. Your account

Some features, such as posting reviews or uploading photos, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login details secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service, and old enough under the laws of your country to form a binding agreement to use these features.

4. Content you submit

You may submit reviews, ratings, comments, photos, trail times, map markers and other material (together, "your content"). You keep ownership of your content, but by submitting it you grant Thailand Stuff a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, adapt and promote it on the Service and its related channels.

You confirm that your content is your own or that you have the right to share it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it does not break any law or the rights of others. You agree not to post anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, obscene, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy. We may review, moderate, edit or remove any content at our discretion, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, accessing it through automated scraping without permission, introducing malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose. You also agree not to post or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service's design, branding, text and compiled content are owned by Thailand Stuff or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce or republish substantial parts of the Service without our written permission. Business names, logos and photos supplied by or belonging to third parties remain the property of their owners.

7. Third-party links and listings

The Service links to third-party websites, booking pages, maps and social media, and displays information about independent businesses. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, products, services or privacy practices. Any dealings you have with a listed business are strictly between you and that business.

8. Accuracy, maps and disclaimers

We work to keep information correct, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Details such as opening hours, prices, menus, event dates and trail conditions change often and may be out of date or incorrect. Always confirm important details directly with the business or organiser before you rely on them.

The app includes GPS maps, directions and turn-by-turn navigation. These are provided for general guidance only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or unavailable, and depend on your device, its sensors and its signal. Do not rely on them as your only means of navigation. Always watch the road, trail and your real surroundings, follow all traffic and trail rules and signs, and do not let the app distract you while riding, cycling or driving. Set your route before you set off, not while moving.

Outdoor activities, including hiking, cycling, off-road riding and visiting trails, beaches and waterfalls, carry real risks. Trail data, maps, routes and difficulty ratings are for general guidance only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You take part in any activity entirely at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety, preparation and decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Thailand Stuff and its team will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, from reliance on any information on it, or from your dealings with any listed business or third party.

10. The mobile apps

Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your download and use of an app are also subject to the terms and policies of the store you get it from, and those stores are not responsible for the app or its content. The apps ask your permission before using device features such as location, camera and photos, as described in our Privacy Policy; you can grant or withdraw these permissions at any time in your device settings, though some features will not work without them.
