Overview

The SunRay Koh Samui day pass gives non-resident guests a day at SunRay Social & Swim Club, the daytime pool and beach club at SAii Koh Samui Villas in the Choeng Mon area on the north-east tip of the island. SunRay is a separately branded club concept from S Hotels & Resorts, built around the ocean, the pools and natural light rather than late-night partying. The day pass costs THB 1,500 per adult, and the full THB 1,500 comes back as food and beverage credit, so the pass is effectively a minimum spend on lunch and drinks with pool and beach access included.

The setting is a terraced garden running down to the beach, with sun loungers under blue-and-white scalloped umbrellas, a pool area set among big tropical trees, and beachfront seating with views across the bay. The club's own description talks about late-morning swims drifting into lunch, music that sets the tone without taking over, and an atmosphere that stays relaxed and unpretentious.

What the SunRay Koh Samui Day Pass Includes

According to SunRay's official day pass booking page (linked from the SAii Hotels website), the Pool Experience includes:

  • THB 1,500 food and beverage credit
  • Swimming pool and beach access
  • A sun lounger and beach towel
  • A complimentary bottle of SAii water

The listed amenities also include an outdoor pool, beach, towel service, loungers, complimentary Wi-Fi and complimentary parking. DJ sets, live performances and fire shows take place on selected days.

Prices

  • Adults (18+): from THB 1,500, including THB 1,500 food and beverage credit.
  • Children (13 to 17): from THB 1,500.

The booking page shows these as "from" prices, so rates can vary by date. No price tier for children under 13 is shown on the booking page, so contact the resort before planning a visit with younger children. The SunRay food and drink menus state that prices are subject to a 10% service charge and government VAT, so keep that in mind when working out how far your credit will go. As a guide, signature cocktails on the drinks menu are listed at THB 420 and sharing snacks such as loaded chips and dips at THB 300 to THB 590.

Food and Drink

SunRay serves an all-day menu, a dinner menu and a drinks list, all published as PDFs on the SAii Hotels website. The food is global and designed to eat by the pool: loaded crisps and nachos, fish and chips, burgers, Thai favourites and bowls. The drinks list leans toward bright, easy cocktails such as a SunRay Aperol Spritz, Mango Wonder and Blue Yuzu, plus beers, soft drinks and coffee. Your day pass credit can be used across food and drinks during your visit.

Location and Getting There

SunRay Social & Swim Club is inside SAii Koh Samui Villas at 63/182 Moo 5, Bophut, Koh Samui, Surat Thani 84320, in the Choeng Mon area on the north-east corner of the island. It is a short drive from Samui International Airport, Chaweng and the Big Buddha area. Taxis and Grab are the easiest options, and the booking page lists complimentary parking for guests arriving by scooter or car.

Booking and Cancellation

The day pass is booked through SunRay's official DayPass page, which is linked directly from the SAii Hotels website. Bookings receive instant confirmation, and you pay a small deposit online with the balance settled when you check in at the club. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your visit are fully refunded, and you can reschedule up to 24 hours ahead at no cost. For table reservations without a day pass, the club also has a "Reserve Your Spot" booking page, and the resort team can be reached by email or phone.

Good to Know

  • Opening hours: the SAii Hotels website lists SunRay's opening hours as 11:00 to 22:00. Check your day pass booking for the exact pool session time.
  • Credit, not a cover charge: the THB 1,500 is fully redeemable on food and drinks, so order lunch and drinks to use it up.
  • Service charge: menu prices are subject to a 10% service charge and VAT.
  • Contact: rsvn.samui@saiihotels.com or +66 77 914 700.
  • Ages: the booking page sells adult (18+) and child (13 to 17) passes only.

For a calm pool day away from the busier Chaweng and Bophut beach clubs, the SunRay Koh Samui day pass is one of the clearest offers on the island: one price, all of it returned as credit, with pools, beach and loungers included.
