Overview

The Carpe Diem Beach Club day pass is a reserved seat by the seafront pool or on the sand at Carpe Diem, a beachfront restaurant and beach club at 99/1 Bangtao Beach Road, at the southern end of Bang Tao Beach on Phuket's west coast. Instead of a flat entry ticket, the club sells seating by type: pool deck sofas, single lounge chairs, pool deck beds, beachfront beds and cabanas. Each is priced per guest, and most of that price comes back to you as food and beverage credit on the day.

Important: prices change on 1 November 2026. The low-season rates listed on this page are valid until 31 October 2026 and are paid on arrival. From 1 November 2026, high-season rates apply: THB 4,000 per guest for a pool deck sofa, THB 3,000 for a lounge chair, THB 6,000 for a pool deck or beachfront bed and THB 5,000 for a cabana, with half of each amount given back as food and beverage credit. High-season bookings must be prepaid in full and are non-refundable. If you are planning a visit in November or later, budget for the higher rate.

Seating Options and Current Prices

Until 31 October 2026, the current low-season tiers are:

Pool deck sofa: THB 500 per guest, all of it returned as THB 500 food and beverage credit. Each sofa seats two to six guests.
Lounge chair: THB 1,000 per guest, including towels, umbrella and service plus THB 500 food and beverage credit. One guest per chair.
Pool deck bed: THB 2,000 per guest, including towels, umbrella and service plus THB 1,000 credit per person. Each bed suits two to three guests, and a minimum two-guest price applies even if only one person uses it.
Beachfront bed: THB 2,000 per guest on the same terms as the pool deck bed, set directly on the sand.
Cabana: THB 2,000 per guest, including towels, umbrella and service plus THB 1,000 credit per person. Each cabana is comfortable for two to four guests.

The maximum group size is eight guests per booking, and larger parties are asked to enquire before booking. In high season the lounge chair group limit drops to four guests per booking, and the two-guest minimum price applies to every seat type except lounge chairs.

What the Day Pass Includes

Beds, beachfront beds, cabanas and lounge chairs include towels, an umbrella and table service. The credit is spent on the club's menu, which is Mediterranean with a wood-fired pizza oven and a Japanese corner, plus cocktails and other drinks. Resident DJs play through the day, and the weekly programme includes a fire show on the sand, pool party weekends and the La Dolce Vita Sunday brunch, after which the Sunday afternoon pool party starts at 3pm. Menus are available in English, Russian and Chinese.

Facilities

The centrepiece is the seafront pool, framed by daybeds and umbrellas, with the beach and Bang Tao Bay directly beyond. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and the club is known for its sunset views across the Andaman Sea. The garden entrance, lined with tall coconut palms, sits on Bangtao Beach Road. Note that the club is not a hotel, so there are no rooms on site.

Location and Getting There

Carpe Diem is in Choeng Thale, Thalang district, at the southern end of Bang Tao Beach. It is a short drive from Laguna Phuket and Boat Avenue and about 25 minutes by car from Phuket International Airport. Look for the garden entrance with tall coconut trees on Bangtao Beach Road. Taxis and ride-hailing cars can drop off at the gate.
