How to buy
Buy the voucher in the resort's online shop, then redeem it in advance by emailing Resort.HuaHin@movenpick.com or calling 032 520 777. Book extra children's passes with the hotel team. Vouchers are transferable but non-refundable, credit is valid on the visit date only, and all benefits are subject to availability.
The Mövenpick Asara Hua Hin day pass, sold by the resort as the Asara Daycation Pass, gives non-guests a full day at a low-rise beachfront resort on the northern side of Hua Hin, with the entire adult price returned as same-day resort credit. It is sold through the resort's own online voucher shop, and the adult voucher costs THB 1,500 with THB 1,500 of credit that can be spent on food and drinks, spa treatments or the resort's Sanctuary Park experiences.
Overview
Mövenpick Asara Resort and Spa Hua Hin is a five-star resort of 96 suites and private pool villas, set among palms, gardens and lagoons on the shore of the Gulf of Thailand. It has two landscaped swimming pools, a children's pool, a garden path leading down to the sand, two beachfront restaurants and the ASARA Spa. The resort sits on Soi Hua Hin 5, about ten minutes by car from Hua Hin town centre, the night market and the historic railway station, which makes it a calmer alternative to the busy central beach.
The Daycation Pass is the resort's packaged way to let outside visitors use the property for a day. Because the adult price is matched by an equal amount of resort credit, it works out as a minimum spend rather than an entry fee: you pay THB 1,500 and spend THB 1,500 on lunch, drinks or a massage on the same day.
What the Day Pass Includes
According to the resort's voucher page, the Asara Daycation Pass includes access to the resort swimming pools and facilities from 10:00 to 18:00, use of the fitness centre, a guaranteed sunbed throughout the day and complimentary towel service. Pass holders can also join the Mövenpick Chocolate Hour, which runs from 15:00 to 16:00 and is one of the brand's signature daily rituals.
The pass comes with THB 1,500 of resort credit, redeemable on the date of visit only. It can be used for food and beverage at all outlets, for spa treatments, or for Sanctuary Park experiences. Unused credit cannot be exchanged for cash.
The voucher shop lists three types: Adult (13 and over) at THB 1,500, Child (6 to 12) at THB 750, and Child (0 to 5) at no charge. The resort asks guests to book additional children's day passes directly with the hotel team.
Pools, Food and Facilities
The resort's two main swimming pools are framed by daybeds and umbrellas, with a separate children's pool for younger swimmers. Baan Dum serves Thai food and seafood on a lawn facing the sea, and Kampu offers Mediterranean cooking, so it is easy to spend the credit on a long beachfront lunch. The ASARA Spa offers Thai massage and other treatments if you would rather put the credit towards a session.
Families will find the Little Birds Club for children, and the resort is known for being pet friendly, with a Sanctuary Dog Park and a dedicated pet spa. Free Wi-Fi covers rooms and public areas. A guest review on the resort's site notes that there is not much natural beach to walk on directly in front of the property, but the resort has created its own sandy beach area by the sea, so manage expectations if a long beach walk is a priority.
Location and Getting There
The resort is at 53 Soi Hua Hin 5, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110. It is north of the town centre, so most day visitors arrive by Grab, taxi or their own car. From central Hua Hin the drive takes around ten minutes. Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport is about two and a half to three hours away by road, and the resort can arrange private transfers.
Good to Know
Buy the voucher online through the resort's pre-paid voucher shop, then contact the resort to redeem it in advance by email at Resort.HuaHin@movenpick.com or by phone on 032 520 777. Present the voucher to staff on arrival. Day passes are transferable but not refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and lost vouchers cannot be reissued. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the pool. All benefits are subject to availability.
If you want a quieter pool day outside the town centre with credit that covers lunch, the Mövenpick Asara Hua Hin day pass is good value for couples and families. Check the voucher page before you visit, as prices and inclusions can change.
Fast wifi, power at the tables and space to spread out. Comfortable for a long lunch, a call or a work session.
