Overview
Ninja Water Park Samui is an inflatable obstacle park moored in the sea off Bangrak Beach, on the north coast of Koh Samui near the Big Buddha. It is run by Samui Pier Resort, the beachfront hotel it sits in front of, and it describes itself as the only inflatable water park directly in the sea on Koh Samui. A full day at the park and the pool costs 500 THB per person, and a pool-only ticket costs 200 THB per person. The park is open daily from 10:30am to 6:30pm, weather permitting.
Unlike the island's older slide parks, Ninja is a floating course of inflatables in open seawater a short swim or walk from the beach. Guests climb, balance, jump and slide their way around the obstacles, then cool off in the resort pool or settle in at the beachfront restaurant. Its sunset views across the bay are a big part of its appeal, and late afternoon is a popular time to visit.
What the Day Ticket Includes
Samui Pier Resort publishes two admission options for the water park:
- Full Day Park and Pool: 500 THB per person. All-day access to the inflatable sea water park plus use of the pool.
- Pool Only: 200 THB per person. Pool access without the inflatables.
The park lists its main features as:
- Inflatable obstacle courses floating in the sea
- A seawater experience rather than a chlorinated pool park
- Family entertainment suitable for children and adults
- Professional lifeguards and safety equipment
- Life jackets for younger guests
Safety Rules
The park publishes a short set of rules, and families should know them before arriving:
- All children under 17 must wear a life jacket while on the water park.
- Children under 6 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Professional lifeguards are on duty while the park is open.
Because the course sits in the open sea, the park only operates when the weather allows. On windy or stormy days, or when the sea is rough, it may close or open late. If the weather looks uncertain, it is sensible to message the resort before setting off.
Who It Suits
Ninja Water Park is aimed squarely at families and groups. Older children and teenagers tend to love the obstacle course, while adults can treat it as a playful workout in the water. Younger children can use the park with a life jacket and an adult, and the pool-only ticket is a cheaper option for anyone who prefers to stay out of the sea. It is also a good half-day activity to pair with a visit to the Big Buddha temple and the Bangrak waterfront, both a short drive away.
Food, Drink and Facilities
The park sits in front of Samui Pier Resort, a small beachfront hotel with sea-view rooms. The resort's beachfront restaurant, The Cashew Tree Restobar, serves food and drinks with ocean views, so it is easy to spend the whole day on site and stay on for sunset. Bring sun protection and a change of clothes, as the inflatables sit out in open water.
Location and Getting There
Ninja Water Park is at Samui Pier Resort, 30/5 Moo 4, Bophut, Ko Samui, Surat Thani 84320, on Bangrak Beach. Bangrak is on the north-east coast of Koh Samui, close to the Big Buddha pier and a short drive from Samui International Airport, Fisherman's Village in Bophut and Chaweng. The resort's website includes a Google Maps pin for the park. Taxis and scooters are the easiest way to get there,.
