Overview
The Santiburi Koh Samui day pass lets non-guests spend a day at one of the longest-established luxury resorts on the island's north shore. Santiburi sits on 23 acres of tropical gardens, shady trees and lotus ponds directly on Maenam Beach, with around 300 metres of beachfront and a 50-metre swimming pool at its centre. The resort's own website states that its pool is open to the public and that non-resident guests can buy a Day Pass at THB 1,500++ per person, which includes a THB 1,000 food and beverage credit, or spa treatments instead.
Santiburi is part of S Hotels and Resorts, the same group behind the SAii brand, and it is best known for spacious suites and private pool villas, a large spa and a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. Maenam is one of the quieter beaches on Koh Samui, with golden sand, palm trees and shallow, gently sloping water that the resort describes as suitable for swimming at low or high tide. For visitors staying in Maenam, Bang Po or Bophut, the day pass is a straightforward way to enjoy the pool, the beach and a long lunch without booking a villa.
What the Santiburi Koh Samui Day Pass Includes
The price published on the resort's website is THB 1,500++ per person. The two plus signs mean that the 10% service charge and 7% VAT are added on top, which brings the total to roughly THB 1,766 per person. Of that, THB 1,000 comes back as food and beverage credit to spend at the resort's restaurants, and the resort says the credit can alternatively be used towards spa treatments.
The website does not list detailed inclusions such as towels, sun loungers or opening hours for day visitors, and it does not show separate child prices. Contact the reservations team before you go to confirm what is included on the day, the hours, and whether there are any restrictions during busy periods. No expiry date is shown for the offer.
Facilities
The 50-metre swimming pool is the main reason to visit. It sits in landscaped gardens close to The Pool House, a casual restaurant serving comfort food and light bites, which is a natural place to use part of the credit. Santiburi has five dining venues in total: Vimarnmek for breakfast, The Pool House for casual meals, Sala Thai for regional Thai cooking, The Lounge, and The Beach House for oceanfront dining on Maenam Beach.
Santiburi Spa offers Thai-inspired treatments and holistic therapies, including massages, aromatherapy and yoga, and the day pass credit can be put towards a treatment instead of food. The resort also has a sports centre, tennis, Thai boxing, cycling and non-motorised watersports for its overnight guests, and a shaded kids' pool along with Panya and Yim's Junior Camp for children aged 4 and above. Check with the resort which of these, if any, day pass guests can use. The resort's golf course, Santiburi Samui Country Club, is about 10 minutes away by car. The resort's accommodation combines sleek design with warm contemporary Thai decor, and The Reserve is a separate enclave of private villas set at least 10 metres apart. The grounds are mature and shady, so there is plenty of cover from the midday sun between swims.
Location and Getting There
Santiburi is at 12/12 Moo 1, Maenam Beach, Koh Samui, Surat Thani 84330, on the north coast between Bophut and Bang Po. Samui International Airport is about 15 minutes away by car, and the resort is a short walk from the Maenam walking street and night market. Fisherman's Village in Bophut is a short drive east. Taxis and ride-hailing cars are the most convenient way to arrive if you are coming from Chaweng or Lamai.
Good to Know
Day passes are subject to availability, so contact the resort before travelling, either by email at rsvn@santiburisamui.com or by phone on +66 77 425 031. Any spend above the THB 1,000 credit is charged separately, and remember that the ++ means taxes are added to the published price. Maenam Beach itself is public land, and Thai law does not allow smoking on beaches. For a quiet, classic resort day with a big pool, a long beach and a meaningful dining credit, the Santiburi Koh Samui day pass is one of the better value luxury options on the north coast.
