Overview

The Shore Beach Club sits directly on Kata Noi Beach, on the site between Katathani Phuket Beach Resort and its sister property The Shore at Katathani, part of the Katathani Collection of Resorts. It is a standalone beach club rather than a hotel amenity, built around a long infinity-edge pool that runs parallel to the sand, a beachfront bar and a restaurant with full ocean views, and it sells its own day pass to non-guests rather than restricting the pool and beach to resort residents only.

The setting is genuinely upscale: a clean-lined pool deck with rows of umbrellas and loungers looking straight out over Kata Noi Beach, a circular beachfront bar built into a striking timber-slat pavilion, and an open-sided restaurant serving right up to the water's edge. It is a quieter, more polished alternative to Phuket's louder party beach clubs, aimed at couples and travellers who want a full day of pool, beach and dining rather than a DJ-driven scene.

What the Day Pass Includes

The Shore Beach Club sells three day pass tiers, each priced per couple and each fully redeemable as a food and beverage credit. The Sunbed Package is 3,000 THB net per couple, the Daybed Package is 4,000 THB net per couple, and the Cabana Package is 5,000 THB net per couple, with the full amount of each package returned as credit to spend on food and drinks. That makes the day pass, in practice, a minimum spend rather than a straight entry fee: a couple planning to eat lunch and have drinks by the pool effectively gets the loungers, umbrella and beach access for free.

The three tiers differ mainly in seating and shade. The Sunbed Package is the simplest option, a pair of loungers under a shared umbrella. The Daybed Package steps up to a larger shared daybed, and the Cabana Package is the most private option, with a dedicated shaded cabana for the day. All three include full use of the pool and beach frontage regardless of which seating tier is booked.

The Pool, Beach and Dining

The pool is the centrepiece of a visit, a long infinity-edge lap pool set right along Kata Noi's sand with uninterrupted sea views, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. The beach itself is one of Phuket's more relaxed stretches of sand, framed by the headland that separates Kata Noi from Kata proper, and it is noticeably quieter than the beaches further north.

Dining runs on a longer schedule than the pool. The restaurant is open from 11:00 until midnight, with last orders at 22:30, serving in an open, high-ceilinged pavilion with sliding doors onto the pool and beach. The Beach Club Bar keeps even longer hours, from 10:00 until midnight with last order at 23:45, built around a distinctive circular timber structure that frames a sea view from almost every seat. Since the day pass credit is redeemable across both the restaurant and the bar, a full day here can easily run from a late breakfast through sunset drinks on the same pass.

Location and Getting There

The Shore Beach Club is at 14 Kata Noi Road, Karon, Mueang Phuket 83100, on Kata Noi Beach on Phuket's southwest coast. It is just 5 to 10 minutes from Kata Beach and Kata town centre, making it an easy stop for anyone staying in the Kata or Karon area, with the beach club itself tucked onto the quieter Kata Noi headland away from the busier main beach. The short distance from Kata also makes it a reasonable option for visitors based further along the coast in Karon, who can combine a morning in town with an afternoon on Kata Noi's sand.
